NOTE: the screen names ...... are fictitious...

real screen names have not been used

If God is Eternal and unchanging... then what does it mean that God becomes Angry.... or Regrets... or Forgives...??

If God is perfect, lacking nothing.. then what reason was there for the Creation... but... if there was no reason.. then how can God be understood as all-wise.. doing things capriciously... for no reason...

If God is all powerful... then why should God be bound by human logic and understanding... why cant it be possible for God to be in all religions... and accept all forms of worship... I mean the 5 loaves and two fishes fed the 5000.... and bread is different from fish..... also.. wine is different from bread... and a burning bush is different from a pillar of smoke is different from a pillar of fire is different from the flying chario of Ezekiel.. is different from the "still small voice" of Elizsha

many Hindus.. believe that God is One... but has three primary aspect (just like Christian trinity).. but that .. in addition God is so powerful... He(She..It) can manefest as many forms genders... etc simulatneously... IS THIS NOT TRUE OMNIPOTENCE

Sitaram: that which has a starting point in time is not eternal... only immortal

Sitaram: how can that which is not eternal be divine?

Sitaram: how can that which is not divine be "saved"

Sitaram: and why does that which IS DIVINE need saving?

Yajna: but I cannot concur with u when u say that soul has a beginning in time

Sitaram: you misunderstand

Sitaram: christian doctrine and jewish.. teaches soul has a beginning in time

Sitaram: therefore... in THEIR beliefs... SOUL is immortal.. but not truly eternal

Sitaram: Lord Krsna in Gita tells Arjuna... "there is never a time when you were not.. nor a time when I was not

Sitaram: I am demonstrating one of the many flaws in western theology

Yajna: I fully concur with u in this regard

Yajna: I am infact trying to translate ur statement into the physice ans maths of the contemporary science

Yajna: looks like some of my theories r taking shape... but the math is not yet complete

Sitaram: also.. since God is the source both of Being and also of Non-being.... it is an error to even ask whether God exists... for that is to diminish God and put God in the world of Dualities.. which God transcends

Yajna: seek blessings of people like u in my endeavour

Yajna: but I cannot concur with u when u say that soul has a beginning in time

Yajna: but then asking about god is something like reductio adubsurdum and it has to start there

Sitaram: exactly

Sitaram: only western christianity has attempts to prove Gods existence... it is unknown in Eastern Orthodox Christianity... and also in early Judaism....

Sitaram: .. I live in Brooklyn... my photo is on first page... I have no Indian ancestry.. but I attend Guyanese Mandir for 5 yrs now

Sitaram: age 50, male

Yajna: I believe proving is realising.... an attempt to become the drashta as they call in sanskrit

Yajna: asking for no proof is bhakti and asking for it is gnana as I come to understand

Sitaram: I am not familiar with term drashta.. I still have much to learn... ... yes... asking for proof of bhakti is gnana.. this I understand

Yajna: drashta is the perceiver a word related to drishti

Yajna: pardon my trying to explain to u

Sitaram: in christian New testament.. there are verses which indicate that Faith (Bhakti)... is a Gift.... and does not come from knowledge.. but if this is true in their scriptures then why do they seek to convert others through argument

Sitaram: oh.. hmmm drishti... yes.. this sound familiar from a Bhajan

Sitaram: and perhaps related to Darshan...?

Yajna: argument is for the one who attempts to conceive

Yajna: u r right sir

Yajna: beyond conception wht is left is perception..... only beyond that is comprehension

Sitaram: in my web pages.. I have some good arguments against Moslem attacks.. based on quotations from Koran

Sitaram: yes.. your explanation is very helpful.. I cut and paste it into my word processor

Yajna: I would love to visit ur web site... I think I canget into it by keying A HINDU DREAM.... am I correct?

Yajna: I am honoured

Yajna: I personally believe bhakthi is ignorance in its purest form

Sitaram: yes... if you are on page 14... (i emailed you the URL also).. you may visit any page.. by clicking on hyperlinks

Sitaram: you may move forward and also backwards

Yajna: I saw that

Sitaram: and... of course... scroll down.. for some are quite long...

Sitaram: my email of course is sitaram6465@hotmail.com

Sitaram: I must leave keyboard for 15 minutes.. or so.. and then I will come back

Sitaram: but email me any time

Yajna: sure sir and my respects to u again thank u for ur time

Sitaram: yes we must all help one another... so that those who are in darkness and shadows.. so not make the youth to feel falsely.. ashamed.. when they should feel pride

Yajna: thank you

Sitaram: your welcome

Yajna: I am trying to build a theory on the concept of time mass space and energy. the hinduist concepts have been very helpful in arriving at some meaning ful conclusions... but still it will be a long way before anything can be presented.... I may be seeking ur help in this regrd sometime

Sitaram: I will be glad to help in any way... if I am able

Yajna: my pranams.... I will be in touch

Sitaram: please look for a book called "The Tao of Physics"
