What can I say. He's Alan Knight. He's an MBE.

Alan Knight has been a player at pompey scince 1977 when he joined as a youth. He was pretty much a first team regular until the 00/01 season. After that year he retired to become a coach for us but had to come back as a player as the tragic death of Flahavan left us short of keepers. He took the number 40 shirt as it was his age last season. Now we have Beasant , Yoshi and Hislop as keepers I believe he'll go back in to retirement only to come back when we sell Yoshi. He played over 600 games for us and I believe he deserves a Knighthood.
