6/22--- Manhattan, subway tunnel 147: six workers found dead; newspapers said bones picked completely clean by rats (and our man at the morgur confirms).
7/2--- Manhattan, old auxiliary presses, NY Times: freak flooding of presses ("dragon's lair") in bedrock chamber; service elevator fails, one worker drowns.
"rats": Jeremiah inspected. Reports rats in area of tunnel agitated and aggressive and fat. Rats near Times presses also unusually aggressive; not a problem Jeremiah's had before.
