BIOGRAPHY
Eminem's full name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III, he got
his alias
Eminem from his initials MM -> M&M -> Mn'M -> MinM ->
Eminem.
He says he has three different Sides,
Eminem- The Rapper
Slim Shady- The bad guy
Marshall- The common guy.
He was born in St Joseph,
MO, (near Kansas City). He was spending his
better part of his childhood shutterling back and forth between his home
town and Detroit. He started to perform when he was 14 years old.
He made his debute in '96 with the release of Infinite, soon followed
by the
album The Slim Shady EP ('97).
Dr. Dre discovered his demo
tape on the floor of Interscope label chief
Jimmy Iovine's garage. Dre liked Eminem's voice so Eminem took the
second place in the freestyle category at '97's Rap Olympics MC battle
in
Los Angeles that Dre agreed to sign him. The best selling Slim Shady LP
followed in '99, scored him a massive hit with single and video for
My Name Is, plus a popular follow up with Guilty Consiense.
The Marshall Mathers LP appeared in the summer of
2000, moving
close to two millions copys in its first week of any release, on this
way to
becoming the fastest selling rap album of all the time...
