The SFC1 Dockmaster's Manifest List

I thought I would include a complete list of all of the changes made to SFC1 if the models on this site are installed according to the installation instructions. This real "Dockmaster's Manifest" is useful in that you'll know the which ship classes that have been changed so you'll know which new ship is which while you play the game. You can get the list by clicking here

Also note that most of the information listed below is obsolete now since the relevant information is listed in each individual ship's Readme file now (or should be!). I've decided to keep these old posts in the interest of showing the complete history of this mod and the various changes that have happened over time.

Note: the skins for Ghost's Orion ship models are interchangable. This is useful to know in case you want to have all the Orions to have one hull color when you play a particular race (to signify the different cartels operating in a given area. Just copy the appropriate 0p_1.pcx & OP_2.pcx files into the rest of the orion ship directories.

I also forgot to mention this but you can also use the Klingon Battletug model as the ship for the large Klingon Freighters. See the updated Klingon Battletug readme file for more details.

Federation Battle Tug: Replace the model for the Federation CDW ship. Use the Battle Tug SSD stats from Star Fleet Battles Commander's SSD Book#1 p.22.
Federation Lexington Class Command Cruiser: Replace the model for the Federation FCC+ & FCB ships. No stats changes.
Federation Missouri Class Heavy Battleship: Replace the model for the Federation BCF ship. Don't forget to change the ship class to FBB. Stats? Good question... I'll find out and post them here.
Klingon D-6 Battlecruiser: Replace the models for the following ships: K-D6, K-D6B, K-D6D, K-D6DB, K-D6G, K-D6GB, K-D6K, & the K-D6X. No stats changes

Hydran Captured Klingon D-7H "Anarchist": Replace model for Hydran H-D7H ship, only stats change is to remove the R for Reserve status on ship.

I'd also like to mention other great fan made ships out there that I use in my game of Starfleet Command (you may or may not already have them). Here they are:

Old E-3 Klingon Escort: Replace model for Klingon G2 Police Gunboat, change stats to the E-3 Escort SSD in Star Fleet Battles Commander's SSD Book #2.
The Doomsday Machine: No stats replacement, just an idea to stay true to the series... In TOS episode "The Doomsday Machine" they mentioned that it uses a pure anti-proton beam to destroy objects in it's path then digests them as fuel. So how about adding some firepower to the doomsday machine with a narrow forward firing arc? Give it enough firepower to trash a good sized ship but not enough to blow it away with one shot. Here's what I use: Large Doomsday Machine: One Phaser-4, Medium Doomsday Machine: One Phaser-1, Small Doomsday Machine: One Phaser-2.

CHANGING THE SPEC FILE

To change the sfbspc13.txt or spec file in Starfleet Command to add the new ships on this site, use the excellent Eagle Eye ShipEdit Program by Remus and Heavens Eagle.

OLD SHIP TO CHANGE ON SPEC FILE LIST:

Enabled new Romulan Bird of prey by changing the model for the following ships: K4R, K4RB. No ship stats modified.
Enabled new Romulan KR Series Frigate by changing the model for the following ships: K5R, K5L, K5LB, K5RB, KFR. No ship stats modified.
Enabled new Romulan KR Series War Cruiser by changing the model for the following ship: KDR. No ship stats modified.
Enabled new Romulan KR Series Battleship by changing the model for the following ship: K10R. No ship stats modified.
