Because of Titanics brief  life, photographs actually taken "On board" are very  few in number. The largest contribution of pictures was made by Francis M. Browne, a 32 year old teacher and candidate for the Jesuit priesthood who sailed on Titanic from Southhampton to Queenstown. Fortunately for history he took his camera with him, and his photographs form an invaluable pictorial record.
