Camp Equipment List


Scout Uniform: - Waist up, no sash

Backpack:
Check back bands/pads and straps, buckles and hip belt
a light Day pack is handy

Hiking Boots:
Good fitting, water proofed with Snow Seal or TLC and broken in - (for Winter Camping: Insulated boots with removable liners are best. An extra liner is helpful)

Sleeping Bag: - Suitable for season

Ensolite pad: (foamie)
Tarp (10? x 12?)

Warm Jacket/Layers:
Warm Jacket and shirts, several layers good to freezing temperatures.

Winter: Prepare for -15o coastal or -30o inland

Hat:
Spring, Summer, Fall - Full Brim, Winter - Toque
Sunglasses - all seasons
Gloves - suitable for the season

Matches in waterproof containers

Complete change of clothing:
At least TWO Changes of socks
Layers for warmth and comfort
Light long sleeve shirt (sun protection)

Poncho or Raincoat

Gloves
- suitable for the season
extra pair of light shoes (runners)


Personal Toilet/First Aid kit:
Full roll of toilet paper, wash cloth and hand towel, soap, Toothbrush & small toothpaste Sunscreen, chapstick, hand cream, insect repellent

Lots of tape and Band-Aids

Cook set:
Small Teflon fry pan, cup, knife, fork and spoon

Important Gear:
Knife - Pocket or Sheath Type
Canteen, Compass, Flashlight, Candle Lantern and Candles, Fishing Gear (optional), Camera & film (optional)

Patrol Equipment:
Stoves & Fuel, First Aid Kit and Tents and tarps
