Well, first of all, it's almost time to up and move from fortunecity. Every page I was on just to get to this point to add an entry dropped a popup on me. What a pain in the ass.
Not much going on, still. Stayed late at work yesterday (big surprise, right?) because someone else was sick. I'm such a sap. Yeah, sure let's throw ten-twelve hour days into my 6 day weeks, why not?
Did a LOT of ordering over the internet today. Let me tell you, the internet is a godsend when you can't drive yourself anywhere. I got a bunch of kitchen stuff that I'll need for when my roomie moves out in a couple weeks, and some stuff I didn't necessarily need need, but I'm trying to get stuff to match finally, so I grabbed what I could that was cheap enough! The one thing I couldn't find (though I didn't look altogether toooooo hard for it (yet)) is something so silly it started to piss me off! You know the little drainer thingy (technical terms only, people) you put the dishes in to let them dry when you're too lazy to dry them and put them away as you wash them? THAT, ladies and gentlemen of the jury is the ONE stupid thing I couldn't find! Like I said, I didn't search too hard, but you'd think one of the places you would goto a brick-and-mortar to get it from might have it on their website. Nope, noway, uh-uh, forget it. Unless it's in an odd place, which is possible, but I checked every category I could think of and got exactly zilch. So in my rage I spent a bunch of money on other stuff that I actually need! Dammit! Take that, infernal retailers! |
