Today was a good day. Yesterday's problems are all gone, turns out they were just a 24 or however many short number of hours type thang.
I've gotten a lot of books lately and I'd forgotten how much buying books gets me interested in reading books again. There are some authors that I absolutely BLOW right through every time they come out with a new book, and two of the books I've gotten recently are like that. One I started reading last night and am about 3/4 of the way through after spending a couple hours on. Another one I started 2 days ago and got about a quarter of the way through, only because I stopped to read the other one! I also did a bit more cleaning, it's a neverending story, but what's new, right?
The big things of the day both concern websites. I finally got all the pics I got last Friday scanned, turned out to be around 250 or so of those. A couple of friends also came over tonight and we started to ID trips and who was on them and when they were. The downside of that is I now have a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT more pics to scan than I had before. I debated actually going through and picking the pics I want to use right now, but I decided to start scanning as many as I could over the next week or so. That way I can retool the other sites at my leisure, and I'll have all these pics at my disposal when I do it. My roommate is moving out in a few weeks, and I won't have his scanner to rely on anymore ;)
So that's how I'll be spending a lot of my free time over the next week - scanning scanning scanning!! |
