Well, I wasn't in much of a mood to celebrate the re-establishment of the journal last night, but today I'm a duck again! So Yippee! My site's back up! Just in time, too. I'm going out tonight (I think) to sift through many many many many old pictures from old trips for the sister site(s). Here's a shot to get your opinion, btw. I know without a doubt I'll have tons of pictures I'll be able to use pretty soon. I was thinking about setting up the 93rd at play site maybe by specific year instead of place, or maybe even groups of 2-3 years. I could put up a lot more pictures that way without the pages taking forever to load. Or I could just throw them all onto one page per site. I dunno yet, I'll figure it out somehow! Sorry about last night, it was just one of those ugly days at work. When that happens I tend to get agitated and stuff just starts flowing out with no rhyme nor reason. I haven't read what wrote and I probably don't want to, but I'm fairly certain the whole thing makes no sense. Did my laundry today, and even though I did a lot it seems like I hardly did any at all! I was folding and hanging up everything and it just seemed like I was missing something even though I know I didn't leave anything behind. That and I hate laundrymats. I don't know if anyone out there goes to one, but the one I go to normally has two different sets of dryers, there's like 10 or 12 of them that are obviously kind of old, and 6 or 7 that are pretty new. The new one ALWAYS work, never had a problem with them, but the older ones are kind of hit and miss. I got all three worlds today, one of the new ones was free (at 10AM on a Friday morning, there were 4 or 5 other people doing laundry!), one of the older ones worked for me just fine and the other just kinda tossed my clothes around in it. They may have been a little dryer than when I pulled them out of the washer, but I doubt it. Watching Crimson Tide on DVD right now, damn fine movie. Without a doubt, the coolest thing about DVDs is that the movies are in widescreen format. When you watch a video, or a movie on tv, especially after seeing the movie in the theatre, you can just tell that it's not right. You can see the important parts, obviously, but there's a reason it's filmed the way it is and you just lose so much depth and, I dunno, ambiance maybe, that it almost hurts to watch. Okay, I'm gonna run now, maybe do the cleaning that I've been too lazy to do all week. |
