Wow! 21 out of the first 30 days I put up an entry! We've survived the first month, and it looks like I'll just keep going, surprise of surprises! I know, I know, it's still early, but still important for someone like me. With some things I can tend to go from really into it one day to completely forgotten in a couple weeks or even days. So a month is a pretty good step for me! Be proud!
Work on the third website isn't exactly progressing at a very fast pace. I either don't have time lately or when I do have time and think about it, I just kinda sit and stare at the screen. Don't get me wrong, there's been some progress made, but not a whole awful lot. Unless I change my mind (again) I've got the basic set-up in place, I have a good idea what pictures I want to put up on it, it's just a matter of taking the time on a day off to sit at the screen for most of the day and get the writing done, and that ain't gonna happen for awhile yet.
Why not, you ask? Because next Wednesday I'm leaving for Antietam! Woo! Four days/three nights wandering around a civil war battlefield by day, drinking with the 93rd by night! It's a beautiful thing.
Have any of you out there ever written (or typed) a word that just looks _wrong_? I do that every once in a while with common words that I write all the time, just occasionally, even though I know it IS spelled right, it looks wrong! This all comes from the little word toward the beginning of the previous paragraph - because. Even now, typing it again and looking at it, it is REALLY annoying me, it just doesn't look right! I know it is, but the more I stare at it, the more I have this urge to retype 5 different ways despite the fact I know it's spelled right right now!
Yeah, I'm a little weird, I'm off to get ready for work now, though, so don't worry about it! |
