Woo boy! Went running today again finally, about 8 miles just to be vicious to my poor body as punishment for not inspiring me enough to go running at all lately. Nothing hurts too too bad right now, except the side of my knee. I've had some major to severe ankle problems through the years, but last year and this year, when I start running, it's the other joints in and around my legs that hurt. It's not anything extreme or anywhere near the severity of the whole ankle thing, but it's _really_ annoying. Tomorrow I'm sure I'll remember yet again just how many muscles I do have in my legs.

Going out tonight to help a friend find a new job and, maybe, do some shopping too. I'm leaving for a weekend in Maryland next Thurday and I need some new shoes, maybe just do some general shopping for stuff too, haven't done that in a long time.

I need to stop going in to work on my days off. Didn't I tell you people yesterday to smack me if I tried to do that again?!? I went in actually just for two quick things, I wasn't there for more than 15-20 minutes, but that's not the point!! Man, you all are just unreliable, aren't you??

It looks like the Yankees may have finally solved the Chuck Knoblauch problem they've been having. For those of you silly (and lacking in taste) enough to not know, Knobby's the Yankees' second baseman who's been having some throwing... difficulties...lately. I know exactly what the man is going through, since my throwing arm used to be extremely erratic, so I feel bad for him at the same time that I want him to get his head on straight since he's earning a few million dollars this year. They've decided to try playing him in the outfield, where they've had some problems finding someone to play the position consistently. Now, I know it seems kind of odd, why put a guy who can hardly throw the ball 70-80 feet accurately into the outfield where he has to throw the ball a lot farther accurately? That's what a friend of mine asked when told about the move. It's a lot easier to throw the ball in to the infield partly because you actually have more leeway so you don't need to be quite as accurate every time, and partly because it's easier to be that sort of "general accurate" when you're throwing harder and longer. It doesn't sound normal, I know, but it's actually pretty accurate. Well, that and the team is trying to get Knobby away from second base as a psychological move.

Well, off to change and get ready to go!
