WOW!!! Sorry about the lack of life around here for a few days, but I haven't been able to get on and have just been too damned frustrated to just write entries in wordpad, so this is all you get! I'm just impressed right now that I got on this time!
I haven't had an awful lot of time to write lately anyhow, busybusybusy! I went into work on Saturday and had an absolutely AWFUL night! I went in a little early to get some extra stuff done and left a LOT late! It was horrible, not the hours themselves, but everything that happened during them! I'm not going into detail now, but blah! Sunday I had the same shift, but MUCH calmer, it was like the counterbalance for Saturday. Then all sorts of errands yesterday before work, and today - voila! - no work and a journal entry!
So, what have I been doing on my lovely day off? Absolutely nothing! I had some vague plans for during the day that fell through, so I played computer games all day long. There's only about 3 or 4 games that I really play, and everything else seems to just kinda lose my interest after awhile. But today I couldn't find anything to keep my interest too long so I played about 10 different games, none of them very long, blah blah and BLAH!
It's been raining off and on and warm (relatively) here the last few days, generally a good sign that winter's over. I said it before and I'll say it again - very disappointing winter. Oh well. I should go running, but I'm lazy and it's my day off. I'm using the convenient excuse that my ankles provide and saying that they're a bit sore so I'm gonna hold off until the rain ends and there's nary a trace of ice on the ground anymore. After that I'll just have to come up with a different excuse!
Trying to decide what to do for my birthday this year. I don't have any vacation time, being too new at the job, but I need to do some travelling, maybe just a weekend or something, but I haven't gone anywhere in a LONG time and I've got the fever!
I have an itchy exclamation point tonight, I know, it just seems to have ! a mi!nd of it!s own!
Well, I have to go off to get some ice cream cause I'm craving! Tune in tomorrow? |
