Readin' back over some of these things, I think I need to clarify a bit ;) My friends aren't REALLY a bunch of losers. They've just gotten to this 'age point' where there's loads of other stuff going on and/or they've just outgrown going out a lot, it seems. About a year ago I went through this whole "I'm an old old man" thang, and I think they're all going through it now! When I can go out, I want to now, but rarely can find anyone to go with! People don't call back because they're already doing something, or going out of town, I've got three friends planning weddings right now, they're just all so damn busy except for the ONE weekend I have to work all weekend long!!
As I say all the time, ah well, what're you gonna do, right?
Okay, okay, I'm done whining now. None of those friends even know about this site, so it's not like I'm covering my ass, I just don't want you all to think they're a bunch of losers, hehehe...
So anyhow, got a bunch of movies last night, nothing really blockbuster-ish, but still a fairly solid lineup, a couple of chancy choices, but for three bucks each, what the heck, right?
Syracuse is doing well in the Big East tourney so far, the way they've been going down lately, I wasn't sure how much to expect from them in the tournament, but now they hit the semi-finals! If they can run the table the rest of the way, MAYBE they'll bust back into a 3 or a 4 seed in the tournament....I know, it's a long shot, and the lower seed they play in the first round of the dance, the more likely they are to lose, because, well, they're the 'Cuse, and that's what they do! Just so long as UNC, Duke, and G-town go down early too, that's the important part!
