Well, here's hoping that you all (whoever you all might be) get to see this at some point. It's about 2:30 and I can't get into Fortune City to put an entry on the page, so I'll give it a go in wordpad and then see if I can't get online to copy it up another time!
Well, I didn't do a whole lot of big cleaning yesterday. I did clean a _bit_ more in the kitchen, but nothing much. I did, however, spend some time re-organizing things on my 'puter. I got this one probably about a year or so ago and never got around to really setting it up the same way I had my old one set up with sounds and screensavers and all sorts of self-made theme-type stuff. It just seemed like it'd be a pain to go back and try to find and then download all the stuff again and I really haven't been much in the mood to go look for new stuff. So yesterday turned out to be computer organizing day! Cleaned out a bunch of programs I never use, games I never play, that sort of thing. It's funny how I can get excited about playing some new games, but then always end up getting bored with them and going back to the same old few that I've been playing for a long time, like Starcraft and Age of Empires. I think the only other game that I play at all is Baldur's Gate II, and I don't even play ANY of the three that much anymore! A sad state of affairs.....
Today, I was just plain ol' lazy. Slept til about 11AM, picked up the first Harry Potter book again and read it (really good stuff, even for a 27 year old!), and then went to work. That's where I found out today that someone thinks I'm 'very arrogant'. We have this anonymous survey about what people like and dislike about their job and someone wrote that I am 'very arrogant'. If it sounds like it bothered me, well, it does. I try to be a nice guy most of the time, I think I do a pretty good job, but I don't think I'm anywhere near good enough to even THINK about being arrogant about it. The guy who's running the whole survey thing hadn't intended on my seeing that, it was just sorta sitting there on a desk, and he said it was probably just someone who was pissed off at me for whatever reason that day, and there are a lot of people at this place who are just generally pissed off and actually WORK to get people in trouble just for fun, which is the dumbest thing I ever heard, and didn't believe it until I saw it myself, and I need to end this sentence soon because it's just gone on WAY too long!
Bah! I just need to go to bed. Lots of snow coming this week, I need my energy to trudge through it all! Too bad there's no Appalachian Americans around here I could throw into it.............
