Well, still can't get onto Fortune City, so who knows if you'll ever see either one of these entries, but I'll keep going just in case.
Well, Annie, we got about 6 inches worth over the weekend and probably another 6 inches or so today alone, and it's still coming down baby! I need to get back online and check the weather out on the beach and see just how little snow you got and then read your journal to see just how much you're freaking out about it! Had a long day at work today with so many people freaking out about the storm. Why is it that people go so overboard when they hear that bad weather is coming? Everyone knows that it's only going to snow for a day or two at the most, and that we could POSSIBLY be snowbound for MAYBE one day at the most, yet people go out and shop like we're back in the Cold War and the Soviets are getting ready to fire off their nukes and they'll never see a grocery store again! I felt bad today for the people who normally go grocery shopping on Sunday because they could barely make their way through the crush of people in the store. It was pretty ugly for awhile. We all know where we live, we all know what the weather does, and that it's just snow. If it were an ice storm I could understand a bit better because of what we've been through in the past, but this?
This is just snow. Everybody needs to chill (pun intended).
