So I've 70% decided to play softball this year. I know, I know, it's not baseball, but I'll have plenty of opportunity to go to the batting cages, I'll have time to go golfing occasionally this year (I didn't _at all_ last summer), and I may still be able to play once in awhile if I happen to have a Sunday off. So there's the decision for you!
Movie night tonight with a couple friends. I'm not sure what we're watching, but it's always fun! We haven't done it in a long time, but there were a few months awhile ago where once a week we got together, and just sat around watching a movie. I think it all started with Robin Hood and Dogma (in the theatre). It's one of those silly minor traditions that you miss when it stops and you realize it. So it should be a lot of fun! Woo hoo!
Holy crap!!! I've been watching VH1 all day today (Dave Matthews storytellers, Rick Springfield BTM, then Milli Vanilli BTM just to laugh). The next show is gonna be Tiffany BTM and wow does she look absolutely NOTHING like she did back in the day!! I dunno if I've mentioned it yet (I'm sure I have), but I am a HUGE 80s kid! And, of course, being an 80s kid who liked the pop music, I had huge crushes on, yes, I'll admit it, Debbie Gibson and Tiffany. So I'm thinkin' I'll be staying tuned.
This is really the worst time of year here in Western New York. It's been snowing like crazy most of the morning, now the sun is out and most of what had been like an inch's worth of snow is melted already. I like winter, I like summer, I love spring and fall, but these stupid transition weeks really get on my nerves. You just wanna go outside and scream "MAKE A DECISION!!!!!"
Now that I've been thinking about it lately, I can't wait to get out of this apartment that I'm in. It'd be a cool place if the landlord would put something into it, the other three (it's a house, with 2 exactly the same, two exactly opposite) are great, but this one, before we moved in, was the one that all the nuts got. So basically, the 4 or 5 tenants before trashed the place. The kitchen is ugly and old, the bathroom is nasty, the whole place needs to be stripped and repainted, new windows, a lot of other stuff. I offered to do a lot of it myself, but he wasn't interested in knocking anything off the rent for it, so oh well, right? I can be messy, although I generally like things at least semi-tidy. My roommate, on the other hand can be a complete slob! Downright nasty at times. Not that I do a whole lot to clean it up right away, it has to bug the crap out of me for a few days before I start to do anything, so I suppose I'm just as bad, eh?
