True Beauty
Each day many wake up and see
A few lines here, a few gray hairs there--
So many women panic at these things and
Go back to the doctor's office
For another botox injection...
And yet, while age is something none of us enjoy, there is a
Certain dignity and wisdom that we obtain as we mature--
And if we embrace it, instead of shun it, an inner beauty shines through.
This inner light, which is far greater than anything found merely on
The face, but instead, comes from our minds and hearts,
Are far More lasting than physical beauty and youth--
And once realized, only then
Can one feel and be truly beautiful.
