Poems of Love & Heartbreak

Most of my recent poetry (and some of my best) has been the result of the turbulence of emotions brought about by the loss of love. My poetry, while personal in nature, comes from the very core of the heart, and while other readers' experiences may not mirror mine exactly, it is safe to assume that most everyone has felt this way at one point in time or another. It is my hope that these poems touch the reader in a way that, if currently hurting from a recent breakup or with a broken heart, finds some comfort in my words, & will realize that he or she is truly not alone.

Heartbreak of Another Kind

Heartbreak can also happen to a mother, when she realizes that her child needs more than she can provide-- the worry for her child's well-being, the worry for his future, & most of all, the self-blaming associated with it.

Why the Curse?

Of Love and Faith

And to end on a positive note, some poems on love and faith. Even though some are based on hindu thought, I believe god has many names, and the thoughts in them are universal.
