Judgment Who are we to pass judgment on Others, when noone ever has a Perfect life, or a perfect way Of living. So many things people judge-- The way others live, or the way Others raise their children. "What makes a bad mother"? A question asked by so many, And the answers are as numerous And varied as the people who ask it. A bad mother is someone who Ignores her child. A bad mother is someone who neglects her child. A bad mother is selfish, ALWAYS thinking of herself first. A child of a bad mother is Underfed. A child of a bad mother Is never clean and rarely diapered. A child of a bad mother is understimulated And unresponsive to everyone and everything. A child of a good mother has a healthy Tummy, clean body and a clean diaper. A child of a good mother has smiling Eyes and is always laughing. A child of A good mother is happy and knows he always Comes first. A good mother puts her child first, But is smart and knows there are times That in order to be the best she can be, That she needs a small amount of time to Herself-- and this is where people begin To judge... A mother who is always gone, expecting Others to raise her child-- that mother Could be considered bad. But one who Takes just a little bit of time is Smart as she is refreshed and makes A better mother for her child. People have no right to judge, No matter who they are or how much They may or may not know. The best People, and the best parents, are Those that keep silent and let their Actions speak for them.
