Preheat oven to 350
degrees. Grease 2 large cookie sheets, or
line with parchment paper. Mix dry
ingredients in a large bowl. Add the egg,
oil and stock. Mix well to form a soft
dough that is firm enough to roll out. On
a floured surface, roll out dough to
about 1/2 inch thickness. Cut into shapes
and place about 1 inch apart on the
cookie sheets. Bake for 2 hours, then
turn off the oven and let the biscuits
sit in the oven until the biscuits are
completely cool (this hardens them).
These will
keep several months if stored at room
temperature.(But you will quickly see
that they don't last that long!)

red and green food coloring at
Christmastime for an extra special treat!
Red for Valentines Day...green for St.
Pats Day.... *
