Late in the war, Zeon's Earth Attack Force began planning for a full-scale invasion of Jaburo, the Federal Forces' subterranean headquarters. Several specialized mobile suits were created for this purpose. Among these was the Zogok, a byproduct of Zeon's amphibious mobile suit program which was developed in parallel with the Zugok.
Designed for melee combat within the caverns of Jaburo, the Zogok carried no long-range weapons. Its armament consisted of ten boomerang-shaped wire cutters and a pair of telescoping rod arms, tipped with sharp-edged fingers that could slice through enemy armor.
