This fourth of the specialized mobile suits created for the invasion of the Federal Forces' terrestrial headquarters was this unique excavation mobile suit. Equipped with powerful drills and cutters, a laser torch, and hovercraft modules in place of legs, the Agg was designed to dig tunnels into Jaburo's subterranean caverns, clearing the way for other mobile suits. Though its combat capability was negligible, it could be equipped with missile pods instead of excavation equipment.
While Zeon's California Base staff were readying for their carefully-planned assault on Jaburo, submarine squadron commander Char Aznable discovered the location of Jaburo's camouflaged docks and ordered an impromptu attack. Expending the bulk of its resources in Char's unsuccessful operation, the California Base was unable to mount another invasion, and these specialized mobile suits were never used.
