Well let me tell you there have been a bunch of changes to what I call "The Great Sitcom of Life". We've tweaked the cast of the "newest show" I am in. Out is the insane roommate and his boyfriend. A re-occurring cast member has been bumped up into a starring role, and we have added to the supporting cast, mixing in another gay man and straight woman.
Are you confused yet? Lets recap the shows (think of Bob Newhart, who has starred in a number of sitcoms, just like my life...
1966 - 1984 "The Family Show" Focused on the trials of a kid growing up and dealing with life.
1984 - 1986 "The College Show" Out on his own, exploring life and setting goals
1987 - 1990 "You can go home again" Our star returns to his hometown as an adult and deals with day to day shit.
1991 - 2004 "Lights, Camera, Action" Our star learns about love, life, and the cut throat world of business, and how you can get screwed in business without even trying!
2004 - 2005 "Back to the Water" Our series moves back to Florida. Old cast members return for this "bridge" to the new series.
2005 - Current "The Vintage House" Our series moves to the historic district in St. Petersburg, where our star lives in a house with a seven unit apartment behind it. And in true style of our series, laughter, drama, and escapades occur. (This series was tweaked after just one month with some cast changes)

If you tried to log in this afternoon sorry.... I was having some issues uploading some back-ups and it took me longer than what I thought. Also I did get side tracked as one of my best friends here gave me some bad news that his grandfather passed away, so I spent some time searching for some flights for him and his other half to fly home for the funeral.
Then I was stressed out big-time. Between the problems with the site, the death, and then Samantha got out and was missing and I was freaked out bigtime. After four of the neighbors helped me find her, they kidnapped me for Chinese buffet!
When I got back home the kids knew I was stressed, and for the VERY FIRST TIME all three were in the chair with me at the same time. Luckily we snapped these for all to see. Yes my kids love their Dad!
Now who says cats don't know how you feel???
Siberion on the back of the chair, Iris on my lap, and Samantha between my legs.

Let the fun begin!!!!
Tate, Kristie, & Sue debate the meaning of life....or something like that!
"Wait a minute I'm a bartender I can do this"........."I think"!
I don't want to even THINK about what was happening here, but Tate and Kristie seem to be enjoying it, and Bob looks, well what can we say about Bob?

Divorce. Don't you hate it. You seem to always seem to get caught up in it some how, some way. Not every divorce is the same, nor are they always easy. You as a person on the outside somehow always get shit splattered on you. Divorce isn't always from a marriage, it could be from a long term relationship.
Sometimes people do silly or hurtful things and you as the person on the outside go what, why, and how could they (using a plural form) do this? Even I being the imperfect person I am surround my self with others whom I love and care for, but who are also imperfect.
I have had three different individuals contact me on a previous blog, each claiming that they were "the person" that was mentioned. I just shake my head. That blog in question used gender neutral references, never mentioned anyone one in by name, or what the "Life altering 'faux-pas' that this person did, whether premeditated or not, that person should have known better. At first I truly thought that it was an honest slip up, now I am wondering about that's well.
As with any divorce, breakup, transition, it will be tough on everyone involved. I will maintain my current course, I will not send hate mail, or e-mail that will defame someone else ( Besides that could be a violation of the TOS on my ISP and they could shut me down and lock me out) I will just be me, flawed, hurt, angry, and yes healing me.
Out of the 148 hits to my website last month, I figure 20 or so were people who actually know me in the real world. The rest are cyber friends, and people who I have no idea who I am but have stumbled upon me via a link at a 'friend of a friend'.
Go out have a great day, think before you speak. Besides St. Patrick's Day is just 6 days away!!!!
Hugs to all!!

Anger. It's something that I don't feel often. I mean really angry. I am there now. One of my oldest friends has been "talking out of their ass". Its funny I guess when someone doesn't know what is going on (you know like when they haven't been to your house in a while) it seems to give them carte blanc to just make shit up when they know 1/4 of the reality. I have never been so hurt as this person has hurt me. You can read my "news" (hell I have been blogging on line for 5 years, before it was popular) and I am never mean nasty or down, until now.
I have been praying and soul searching on how to forgive these actions, and I just can't Not only did this person not have complete information, they just plain out and out made shit up. I mean, what the fuck? So I am no defending myself and because of these actions people who I love and trust and doubting me because of things said by someone who they have never met.
Its amazing how much someone can hurt you when they go out of their way to do it. Will I get over it. Hell yes, I have my Mom's determination, and my Dad's attitude. As Samantha Jones would say "Fuck 'em"!
Enough said on that subject, and hopefully that is the last time I will be "down and pissy" on my website!

Well it turns out that the dear old post office has misplaced almost half of my cards this year, if you didn't get one from me it does not mean that I am a grinch, just that the USPS is inapt at the simple task of delivering the mail. To add fuel to the fire my cousin Cheryl had a bunch of package "go missing" and my Mom had a package that she sent to my sister turn up lost.
Next year I am going to send everything out UPS, at least then if it gets lost I get CASH (CHA-CHING)
lol!
Hugs to all --- Bob, Siberion, Samantha, & Iris
PS- I am still feeling like crap...

Electrifying!
TAMPA - The names from the franchise born of infamy will be etched forever into history. The team conceived by a hall of famer with an unlikely vision and born in a barn, grew up Monday and will now be known as champions. The Tampa Bay Lightning, long a laughingstock among NHL circles, circled the ice with Lord Stanley's coveted chalice. The Lightning are Stanley Cup champions of the 2003-04 season.
Now if it could have been the Spurs year too........

Hello All. Well crap, the Spurs didn't do it this year, but I still love my men in silver and black. Not much happening here in Tampa, but I figured I should post something so you know I am still alive! Oh, I did survive the spider attack, and the bites are healing up.
In case you didn't know Paul and I we redoing the bathroom at his house. The walls were ripped down to stud and we tore out the old tub. Paul crawled under the house while I was passing PVC from the bathroom to him when we pissed off at least one brown recluse spider living under the house.
Wanna know how bad those bites are??? Here's a picture:
That was just one, I had a total of nine, at the top of my leg where it connects to the body, and to prove that the big guy has a sense of humor, those big Swedish eggs of mine kept rubbing against the bites.... can you say PAIN??????
But all is good now....

Tony Parker scored 30 points and Tim Duncan added 24 as the Spurs defeated the Lakers 95-85 on Tuesday, taking a 2-0 lead in the Western Conference semis. The win matched a franchise-best 17th straight (counting the regular season) for San Antonio, which travels to Los Angeles for Game 3 at 2:30 p.m. Sunday (ABC).

Today on the steps of the county courthouse three couples were joined in holy union. I wish I could say they were married, but alas the backwardness of our government still hasn't awarded equal rights to all Americans.

Well I am sitting here drinking a margarita, having gone through the WOAI, KSAT, and KENS websites trying to comprehend that I really was not home for Fiesta. Funny, San Antonio seems like home, even though I am now living in Tampa.
I broke down today and turned on the a/c. it was 87 in the living room, and that was way too hot! Add in the humidity of Florida --- lets just say even the cats were happy when it came on!
Hugs to all.... I gotta go take down the Fiesta flag now.....

Howdy y"all!!
Well I'm waiting on the opening of The Alamo on Friday. I haven't heard from anyone in San Antonio how the big premier went (hint hint) but saw a bunch of coverage here on WTVT as the main anchor's son is Patrick Wilson.. Hey guys at AVTS what I saw looked great!
So what's the scoop on the movie??
It's holy week, and I'm getting ready for Easter and all the things I'll be doing at church. There is a service every night this week, and I'll be there (part of my Lenten displine) and then Easter Sunday there is a big Easter dinner at church for everyone who has no family here, or wants to spend Easter with their family of choice. I am making Mom's Rice Pudding and Seafoam Salad to bring to dinner.
I am still working on updating the site and linking all the old pictures onto the new sites, hopefully I'll be done soon!

Happy April Fool's Day!!!
Here is a little history on my favorite non-holiday and this year's foolish things! (Did the DCR print a fake page this year Helen???)
April Fool's Day is one of the most light hearted days of the year, yet it stems from a serious subject—the adoption of a new calendar.
A Traditional New Year's
Ancient cultures, including those as varied as the Romans and the Hindus, celebrated New Year's Day on April 1. It closely follows the vernal equinox (March 20th or March 21st.)
In 1582, Pope Gregory XIII ordered a new calendar (the Gregorian Calendar) to replace the old Julian Calendar. The new calendar called for New Year's Day to be celebrated Jan. 1.

New Series Announced: Klingon Eye for the Human Guy
Five Klingon men, out to make over the world — one p'tak at a time.
They are the va'B Five: an elite team of Klingons dedicated to extolling the simple virtues of honor, tradition and style.
Each week their mission is to transform an honor-deficient and culture-deprived human from weakling to warrior in each of their respective categories: fashion, cuisine, grooming, ritual and honorable living.
It's a full lifestyle make-over where human guys turn in their briefcases for bat'leths, learn about bloodwine that comes in a vat, not a bottle, and come to understand why music is its most passionate at its most discordant. When the journey is done, a freshly tempered, newly enlightened, battle-ready warrior emerges.
Coming soon to QAPLA' TV!
The v'aB Five:
Motat, MaQ'chel, KataH, Moragh and DoQnar
The va'B 5 descend on an unsuspecting shopping mall.
Merchants beware!
Motat is confident that the garment will highlight the color
of a warrior's eyes. MaQ'chel is skeptical.
KataH and Moragh depart, pleased at the suitability
of animal skins for apparel.

Updated - March 26, 2004
This Letter began on March 18, 2004 and was finished on March 26, 2004
Hey Everyone;
Sorry it's been a couple of weeks since I have posted to the site. Randi & Paul's computer crashed, and uploading the updates from my computer (I am still on dial-up) just takes way too long.
It's funny I am missing and yearning for the strangest things, and well this is the weirdest thing of the last couple of weeks, The gas station where I have been getting gas by the house was a Sunoco station, (okay you know how I like to figure out what things were… plus I asked) well the cashiers had no idea what they were becoming, but since the gas there is $1.91 a gallon, and it's the cheapest I have been buying it there. I even say to myself how much I miss Diamond Shamrock and how I would drive between the one at Eckhart and Babcock, Babcock and Louie Pasture, and the Babcock - Wurzbach store to see which one was the cheapest.. Well The new color scheme of the building is teal and yellow, and the big “V” made me stop and do a double take. Yup my gas station here is a Diamond Shamrock without the Diamond Shamrock; it's a Valero gas station. I actually spoke to the manager, and it's the first one in the market, and according to him there are aggressively going after the people who are not renewing there leases with Shell that are current Texaco stations and with Exxon as they are pulling all the Mobil franchises from the state. (Remember how they ripped down and rebuild all the Exxon's in San Antonio a couple years ago, that's happening here now.)
The strangest thing make me happy, so Katie Lutz, I am still in my small way contributing to your paycheck J !
I'm doing okay, I'd love to say that everything is going gang busters and that life is perfect, but it hasn't been exactly what I hoped but you know me I have faith. Faith has been back, okay you know it seemed that the last few months that I had more than my share of “shit hitting the fan” in San Antonio, and I got a bit pissed off at the big guy. Event stopped going to church, did start seeing a therapist (waves at Gil) and FINALLY ended the relationship with Glenn. Many of you were happy, but sad and disappointed at the same time. I wanted to stay put, but I needed to make a change and honestly it was one of the hardest things that I have ever done. I really thought that I'd stay in San Antonio forever. But God had other plans for me.
I haven't missed a Sunday at church since coming to Tampa. I am attending the MCC here, and (how thing just work out) have arrived as they church itself has gone through some changes. They needed some new blood and they got me! I'm becoming more and more active there, and give me a few months, and I will be centered once again. Funny thing about getting pissed off at God, when I got over it he was still there. I was allowed my time to “shut up and color” (waves at Helen) and we got back to our regular routine without any guilt, pressure, or pain. Ending a relationship, no matter how screwed up it was is still a hard thing to do.
Okay so now it's been a week, it's Friday the 26th. I have spent the last week having a great time with my parents. My Mom decided that they needed to come down to Florida and check up on me. It's a lot easier for them now, since my Sister is in North Carolina and that is the ½ way point. They spent some time with her, and then a week here. I have to say it was good to see them again.
The week went by too fast, as vacations always do but we had some fun and quality time at the beach and ate out too much. I also got one of my two Jamestown staples - Pink Stripe Cookies from Eckflof's Bakery. Yeah I munched them way too much and the sugars did go up, but heck they were well worth it, what's a few extra units of insulin when you can have pinks stripe cookies!!!!! I didn't ask for AJ's Sauce, that I'll get when I get home for my twenty year high school reunion this 4th of July weekend. Twenty years???
Now I have taken the time to wire my house for both cable and telephone (Since someone forgot to have it done when the walls were down to stud) so I have internet access at home again! Yippee!!! It's amazing how you miss that!
Random Thoughts:
The North San Antonio Times - I always admitted that this was my “Bathroom Newspaper” when I lived in San Antonio. It was (and is) great reading, but now all this distance away it has taken it's proper place in the living room alongside the Advocate.
Ellen - I introduced the folks to her talk show (I record it daily) It's great since it's a light-hearted look at what is going on in the world. Okay I admit it is fluff, but I am so over the Jerry's and Jenny's that Ellen's show is a hoot.
South Park - “Oh my God, its season eight!?!?!?!?” Who would have thought it??? Watching the “outrageous” first season now makes the show look so tame. Remember when “Married with Children” was considered risqué??? It's the same thing.
Stargate SG:1 - Great season, can't wait for July for the start of season eight and the premiere of Stargate: Atlantis. Who would ever have thought that there would be a show that rates higher in my book than Star Trek???
Speaking of Star Trek, Enterprise is getting better. Like each of the other series, it takes a few years to hit its stride, and hopefully season four will be the best yet.
Doctor Who - Yes it's true, the BBC FINALLY gave the green light for a revival of the classic British Sci-Fi series. 2005 will mark the debut, my resident whovian, Ross will keep me up-to-date and I'll pass it along to you! Click the BBC link for more!
Okay so I guess that is it for now, check out the new pics on the site, and take a moment and write!
Hugs to all!!!
Bob, Siberion and Samantha!!!

New dictionary definition. "Asshole" - see George W. Bush. Today the commander and chief announced that he wants to amend the constitution of the Untilled Stated to define marriage between a man and a woman. He went on that say that a marriage is a loving committed relationship between two people, a man and a woman. America is stable when people are in loving committed stable relationships, but I guess that only a man and a woman are able to love and have a stable relationship.
Marriage, the gay community doesn't care what we call it, but if you are in a stable committed relationship, you should be recognized. The partners should be able to make decisions for each other if one is incapacitated, to get the same tax breaks as a marries couple, to have the same rights, not special rights, as everyone else.
A man and a woman who have known each other for five minutes can get married and be awarded "rights" to them. A committed gay couple who have been together for 20 years are unable to get these "rights"
Now tell me, who the heck is getting "Special" rights?
Here endith the rant

"Absulfuckingutly"
Do I believe in love, and is the someone for each of us? Okay I am done crying like a baby ay the end of "Sex and the City" , and we finally learned Mr. Big's name - John. Sunday nights just won't be the same... Can I get another Cosmo please?
Today we spent all afternoon at church adding pockets to the back of the chairs. Five hours of stapling, screwing and gabbing was one way for me to dive into the life of my new church quickly. Next up, I am cooking pancakes on Ash Wednesday!
February 19, 2004
Damn, damn, damn.. Yup yesterday I drove myself to the ER room again. The infection returned in my chest. After a three hour wait the doctors confirmed that yup it was back. I asked if it was something wrong that St. Luke's Hospital had done, and he said no, sometimes "these things happen". Oh well, so they sliced me open up AGAIN, and drained my chest one more time. This time though he put me on a 21 day run of antibiotics versus the seven day run I had the first time. So it's 7ish tonight and I am finally up and out of bed, and am going to update the site and go back to bed.
Sigh.....
February 17, 2004
Damn, damn, and damn... I woke up today and the area where I had my surgery on my chest is red and swollen today. So help me if there is another tumor or abscess there and they have to cut me back open again I'll be bitching up a storm! Oh, wait, but that would mean I'd get more pain killers right?? Nope not worth the trade off... I'll keep you posted...
February 16, 2004
Randi and I were working on organizing the document vault today when we met a woman who was closing her antique store. Well let me tell you I made out with a bunch of goodies, I'll get new pictures up by the end of the week, but part of the stash was a 1930's hanging light, three cherry tables, a bunch of copper bottom pots and nick nacks up the wazoo... Following her back from document storage, we were also shown a shortcut that cuts about 15 mins off of the commute to the building!
February 15, 2004
Well Randi and I went to church today. I have to admit I haven't been going to church the last few months as I was a bit pissed off at the big guy for all the shit that was hitting the fan in my life. Funny I did see a great therapist though when I wasn't going to church. Well let me tell you MCC Tampa is just what I needed. Talk about a great place for positive energy! While I did go to MCC in San Antonio, it never felt the same as MCC in Sarasota (as it shouldn't be the same) This church is just what the shrink ordered! In fact next Sunday after church we'll be helping add pockets to the back of the chairs... yup I am gonna get really involved again, as it should be.. Amen...
Damn, after tonight there is just one more episode of Sex and the City.... What will happen to Sunday nights? Oh, wait Queer as Folk starts up again in March...

The pictures of the new house are up in the "Pictures of the new house" section. Just click on the navigation links above or click here to be transported there! I will try to update the "news" section here every couple days or so. Since there are a lot of new pictures up on the site, I figure it will be easier on you all (since some of you still use dial up) to log on and see what's up, rather me sending them out to you.
February 6, 2004
I'm baaaaack! The kid's and I arrived back to Tampa bay today. The 30 hours it took us to get here from San Antonio were just too much fun to describe! I'll be posting more later on. Hugs to all!!!
