Ibrahim Erdi Babaeskili (from Babaeski) was born in 1910 in Ertugrul köy, a village near Babaeski. Erdi started to the wrestling 1936, in 1943 he defeated Tekirdagli Huseyin and win the Championship of the Edirne Kirkpinar.
