He's strong and is a lot like his idol Tai. Tai gave Davis his Goggles after his got broken during his first trip to the Digital World. Tai told him "As we all know the leader of the Digi-destined just wouldn't look right without them, so I want you to have mine." </div> <div>      One of the first things T.K. noticed when he first saw Davis is that he looked an awful lot like Tai. Davis admires Tai and always wears the goggles that Tai gave to him. He also has a huge crush on Kari, something that Kari is well aware of, but chooses to tease him by play up to T.K. right in front of him, only causing Davis to become further jealous of T.K. Davis turns out to plays in the same soccer club as Tai. </div> <div>      His Digi-Eggs have the crest of courage and the crest of friendship on them. He was one chosen because he was one of the children being held prisoner in the convention center by the Bakkomon four years ago during Myotismon's attack. </div> <div> Davis immediately starts acting like a jerk when it becomes apparent that T.K. and Kari know each other. He even pushes Veemon to evolve to Champion so that he can show off in front of Kari.  </div> <div>      Well aside from his initial dislike of T.K., Davis is a very outgoing, friendly sort, and he is the first to accept Ken as one of their own. Early on he claims not to know what friendship is, but his later actions prove that he is truly the one worthy of the Digi-Egg of Friendship. </div> <bR> <div>      Although he often rushes into things and makes mistakes, his courage in the face of outstanding odds cannot be denied. No matter how dire the situation, he always believed that they would somehow make it through. There is certainly no one more suited to the Digi-Egg of Courage than Davis. </div> <bR> <div>      When it came to getting his digi-egg of Friendship thou things were a little difficult. The others were doing whatever it took to save Greymon who was being controlled by the emperor. </div> <div> "Would you risk your life if I were in danger?"  Flamedramon asked.</div> <div> "Well, Maybe?" Davis asked.</div> <div> "Maybe, Maybe?! You don't understand anything about friendship."</div> <div> Flamedramon then dedigivolves back to Veemon.</div> <div>      Davis starts to realize what it truly means to be friends and yells "Veemon I'm your friend!" He then receives his Digi-egg of friendship!</div> <bR> <div>      Davis is the first person to truly accept Ken! Due to this belief Veemon and Wormmon were able to DNA digivolve to Paildramon!</div> <div>      Later with Azulongmon's power and the fact that Davis and Ken were in danger Paildramon was able to Mega Digivolve to Imperialdramon!</div> <div>      The original 6 digimon gave up the power Azulongmon gave them to Digivolve in the real world to Imperialdramon so he could change to Imperialdramon fighter mode!</div> <bR> <div>      Davis's moment to shine was in the final battle with MaloMyotismon. While the other children were caught in their dream worlds, unable to let go of their desires, Davis remained untouched. Instead he went to each of his friends and helped bring them back to reality. Even then they were not sure whether they could win or not, and were too afraid to try. But Davis, ever optimistic, encouraged them to give it a shot. Then their Digimon miraculously evolved over and over again and began attacking MaloMyotismon. Then when the Dark Seed children needed encouragement, he shared with them his dream, to become the owner of a noodle carts all over the world.</div> <bR> <div> His sister June is a weird person. First she falls in Love with Matt. Then when she realizes Matt's in love with Sora she gives up. Then when Joe's brother drops Davis off she falls for him.</div> <bR> <div>       When the digidestined go on a journey around the world to save the real and digital world and split up into teams of two Davis goes with Michel to meet up with Mimi in America.</div> <bR> <div> Veemon is a lot like Davis in a lot of ways. Both have few brain cells at times. To give you an idea something was said and Kari said "Oh brother we should make it a rule that Tai and Davis are never allowed to be in the same room together." Anyway like Davis Veemon too has a love. He is in love with Gatomon. Now it's hard to know if she actually knows this.
