Then Gennai told the others that there was an eighth child and that they had to find this child before Myotismon does. Tai wondered if maybe Kari was this child but since their cat Miko sent the digivice out the door it was not known till later when Wizardmon gave Kari her digivice and she and Tai learned that she was the Eighth Child and that Gatomon was her Digimon. </div> <div> Kari is a sweet, brave but frail little girl. Tai worries about her a lot. When they were little Tai took Kari outside when he knew she was sick and she caught Pneumonia and nearly died Tai has never recovered. </div> <div> In the end they all had to return home and as a going away present Kari gave Gatomon her whistle.
