After a battle with Cherubimon Seraphimon was seriously injured. Ophanimon surendered to Cherubimon to spare his life. Sorcermon took care of him and incased him in a crystal case on the celing in a castle at the forest terminal. He would remain there till he was released by the light. Sorcermon trained and waited for the day Seraphimon would be freed. Then the digidestined showed up and lights from their d-tectors freed him.  After learning of Ophanimon's fate Grumblemon and friends showed up. He lost to Mercurymon and Zoe took his digi-egg and Bokomon contined to care for it. Then After Takuya defeated Mercurymon who had used the power to change into Shadow Seraphimon the fractal code hit both Bokomon and the digi-egg he was carrying. </div> <div>      In the end Patamon was born. He trys to lead the gang to Koji when he takes off after Duskmon. But are intrupted by being put in a dome created by Cherubimon. They catch up to Koji but he takes off after Duskmon again. </div> <div>     Patamon leads Takuya, Bokomon and Neemon to Koji.  He even attackes Velgamon till: "I think I ran out of Boom." "You little Tweerp." He knocks Patamon away. Takuya gets involved and with Koji's help they defeat Velgamon. </div> <div> Later after Takuya and the others talk to Koji about having a brother. Patamon though is the only one who actually talks to Kouichi.
