It starts with Arrows being shot at Sakura. Sakura captures card with the help of Madison, Li and Meilin. During the night, the Clow Book shines but Sakura sleeps through. Next day they all get their school reports. Sakura gets a "C" in music, Madison gets all "A's" and Li gets a "B+" Meilin freaks at her card.

Sakura buys a book and can try to win a trip to Hong Kong. She wins and goes to Hong Kong with Tory, Julian, Madison and Kero.

Sakura starts having a dream of a person in water. While in Hong Kong they go to a bird market. Sakura sees 2 birds from her dream. She follows them to a well. She's about to get sucked in when Li appears and saves her. Madison meets Meilin at the market.

They all go to Li's home where she meets Li's 4 older sisters, who love Julian and Tory. She meets Li's mom who seems strict. She asks Li for his report card. During the night, she has the same dream and screams out. Li's mom comes in, takes Sakura outside, and shows Sakura her magical powers. In the morning when they leave, she gives Sakura a warning to beware of water.

They all go to the market shops and Julian buys Sakura a beret that is exactly like the woman's in her dream. Sakura sees the 2 birds again & gives chase. They go to a shop and hear water.

Sakura goes into a trance and she hears the woman beckoning her into the book. Everyone comes into the shop just as Sakura opens the book.

Water comes from the book and Sakura is sucked in. The woman gets angry with Sakura and asks where Sakura got the Clow Cards. Li saves Sakura with the Freeze Card. The others are then shown trapped in bubble spheres. The woman wants to know where Clow Reed is. Li uses the Storm Card while Sakura goes to save the others, uses Sword, and then Fly to get Madison out first.

Li attempts to get Meilin out but can't and he gets trapped. The woman want to escape but Sakura gets out with Madison. Sakura then wants to get back in the water world but the book has disappeared. Kero then goes on to tell that Su Yung was the woman and she loved Clow Reed but when Clow showed her magic and she went to attack Reed but Reed trapped her. Sakura realizes another way into the dimension by the well she was by earlier. A field is around the well. Li's mom arrives and she parts the field so Sakura can get back in the Water World.

Sakura find the right world and follows the birds to where the others are being held. Su Yung takes the others in their spheres and she escapes to Hong Kong. Underwater Sakura is in an earthquake. She escapes using the Fly Card. A battle starts but Su wants Reed (who is dead). Sakura gets caught and Su tries to drown Sakura. A star bubble enters the water and Sakura sees why Reed sealed Su away. Sakura hears Clow Reed's voice and she uses Arrow to escape. Sakura goes towards Su. She apologizes on behalf of Reed. Su realizes Reed is dead.

Su then turns into water particles and apologizes. The others then return. Tory and Julian don't remember about what happened to them except that time passed quickly. Sakura then theories' that she'll be back in Hong Kong one day.
