Digimon Tamers Show Summery
This season revolves around three 13-year-olds who play Digimon Battle Card Games.
This story takes place in another dimension, which means that the digidestined of 01 and 02 in this season are simply TV Show Characters to them.
Instead of taking place in Odaiba, the setting for Tamers is another area of Tokyo, West Shinjuku.
This seasons digivice is a D-Arc also called "A D-Power."
These Digivices have slots in the top to insert cards (or for the Tamers to slash it), which help the Digimon to power up. This Card/Digivice system is called Digi-Modify.
"The third season of Digimon takes place in a world where three kids, Takato, Rika, and Henry, think Digimon is nothing more than a television show. Imagine their surprise when they get their own partner Digimon!
Now, together with their Digimon, the kids must investigate strange phenomena created by the intersection of the Digital World and the real world/
There is an orphan Digimon named Calamon who helps the Tamers in digivolving. There are also new enemies, Impmon which at times its hard to tell if he's really mean or just acting that way to get attention.
The real enemy comes in the forms of the Devas. All are animals from the Chinese Zodiac. (Watch Jackie Chan Adventures for more info).
Most of the Digi-destined voice actors return for this season. Davis is the narrator, Kari is Takato's teacher and Older T.K. is Henry. If there are others out there I'm not sure of. Once in a while you'll here little T.K.'s voice and like the movie Izzy does Gargomon.
In the beginning it's only Rika, Henry and Takato. They each find a mysterious Blue Card. They learn to be tamers. Rika at first hates Digimon even her own partner Rennamon. But later learns the value of friendship and that without that friendship Rennamon could never digivolve.
Later Takato's friends Jeri, Kazu and Kenta also become Tamers. And then much to Henry's dismay his little sister Suzie also becomes a Tamer!
Along their Journey's they meet Ryo a boy who disappeared and is know as a legendary Tamer!
What is not told in this season is that between this season and Zero 2 when Ken and Ryo were little there was a series where the two traveled the digital world together.
