Using their own special skills, the children each helped out in rebuilding the land and at long last a cheery atmosphere enveloped the Digital World. But there were two faces missing...Davis and V-mon. Both depressed over how well T.K. and Patamon got along with Kari and Gatomon, they got together and tried to figure out what they could do to make themselves look cool. Their plan was...to digivolve to Champion!! With the ulterior motive of raising Kari's and Gatomon's opinions of them, Davis and V-mon began training to digivolve.
