Usagi is the most important person in Sailormoon. Not only is she the main character, she's also the leader of the senshi, the former princess of the Moon Kingdom, Princess Serenity, and the future Queen of Earth, Neo-Queen Serenity. She's clumsy, whiny, and a little self absorbed at times (wouldn't you be if you knew you were treated like a goddess in a former life?), but she's still likeable and friendly to everyone. She'd probably be the most popular girl in school, in American terms.
DO NOT
- Make her a total clutz, whiny, and a crybaby. Yes, Usagi is clumsy, silly, a baby, and a little immature, but she still has serious points. Not too often, but she does.
- Make her overly obsessed with Mamoru. Her feelings of jealousy towards Chibi-Usa makes up most of the story behind Sailormoon R, and she loves him dearly, but don't have her, like, stalk him or something.
- Have her totally hate Chibi-usa. Usagi and Chibi-usa act more like sisters than mother and daughter. However, deep down, Usagi loves Chibi-usa dearly, like a mother would love her daughter.
PHRASESThis is the speech that she normally gives when she challenges her enemies, 99.99999 percent of the time (she may add in Super or Eternal in front of Sailormoon, but that's the only change). I think it's better than"In the name of the Moon, I will right wrongs and triumph over evil! And that means you."
- "I am the Pretty Sailorsuited Soldeir of Love and Justice, Sailormoon! In the name of the Moon, I'll punish you!"

SailormoonSailormoonR
- Moon Prism Power, Make-Up! (Moon Prism Power!): Usagi says this to turn into Sailormoon.
- Moon Tiara Action (either Moon Tiara Magic or Moon Frisbee): Sailormoon says this while taking off her tiara. She then throws it like a frisbee at the youma, either destroying or stunning it. It can also be used in conjunction with other senshi attacks.
- Moon Tiara Stardust!: The same as Moon Tiara Action, except it sprays the enemy with stardust (or moondust)
- Moon Healing Escalation (Moon Healing Activation!): She says this and aims the Moon Stick (the sceptor with the big crescent moon on it) at the enemy. It turns humans/cats that were turned into youma back to humans/cats.
Sailormoon S
- Moon Crystal Power, Make-Up! (Moon Crystal Power!): Usagi says this to turn into Sailormoon, duh.
- Moon Princess Halation (same in English, I believe): As she swings around the Moon Rod, she says this, and it destroys the enemy.
SailormoonSuperS
- Moon Cosmic Power, Make-Up! (Moon Cosmic Power!): Usagi says this to turn into Sailormoon.
- Moon Crisis Make-Up!: Sailormoon says this to turn into Super Sailormoon using the Holy Grail in Sailormoon S
- Moon Spiral Heart Attack!: Sailormoon uses the Spiral Heart Moon Rod for this one. She does some sort of gymnastic routine while waving the rod around. A ribbbon of hearts is eminated from the rod and wraps around the enemy, blowing up the enemy in a giant heart. It looks pretty cool.
- Rainbow Moon Heart Ache: This is Super Sailormoon's attack using the Spiral Heart Moon Rod. I haven't seen this attack myself, but according to my souce, it's basically the same as Moon Spiral Heart Attack, but probably a bit more powered up.
Sailormoon Sailorstars
- Moon Crisis Make-Up!: Now, instead of using the Holy Grail, Usagi can just say this and turn into Super Sailormoon, because it was destroyed when she gave it to the Heart Snatchers/Death Busters in exchange for Hotaru's life.
- Moon Gorgeous Meditation: This is Super Sailormoon's attack in this season. She does the same thing as most of them: she waves the wand (in this case, the Moon Kaleidoscope), crouches in a duelist's position, there's some music and some strand of kaleidoscopic images, some sparkly stuff comes out of the wand, and the monster dies.
Other Equipement/Gadgets (that haven't been listed in the attacks)
- Moon Eternal, Make-Up!: Usagi or Super Sailormoon says this to turn into her last and TRUE form, Eternal Sailormoon (the fuku that looks like a really messed up bird)
- Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss: Eternal Sailormoon's attack. She lifts the Moon Tiera up, light shines thru the gem in it onto the monster, and the monster dies. Yah. Yipeee. Yahoo.
- Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss: This was given to her by ChibiChibi. Of couse, it does the same thing: it kills the enemy

- Maboroshi no Ginzuishou (the Illusion Silver Crystal): This is the crystal that it seems that half the enemies are looking for in the early series. Only the Moon Princess holds this, and her power comes from it. It's VERY important.
- Disguise Pen (same thing in English): Usagi uses this to disguise herself to get into places that she normally can't get into, or to do some prankish stuff (like setting up Yurrichou [Chad] and Rei [Raye])
