TIPS ON PLAYING/WRITING MICHIRU
    Michi is, nearly, the perfect person.  She is an excellent artist who has had her work shown in a gallery.  She is a professional level violinist, performing at concerts.  She is also a good swimmer and a good student.  She is elegant, wealthy, and cultured.  She is DEFINATELY not TrailerTrash.  However, she has her weak points, like she's sort of a sore loser, and is easily made jealous.  However, she is, truly, motherly, which is shown by her, Haruka, and Setsuna taking Hotaru in at the end of SailormoonS, when Hotaru is a baby, and raising her like she was their own child.

DO NOT

• Make Michiru the perfect person.  She is very artsy, rich, and refined, but she has her weak points (such as being EXTREMELY jealous), can be heartless at times, and holds grudges and mistrust for a long time.

 
• Have her be as dedicated as Sailoruranus.  She is very dedicated to her job as guarding the Moon Kingdom, almost as dedicated as Haruka.  However, where Haruka would sacrifice Michiru's life for the sake of the Kingdom, Michiru would sacrifice the Moon Kingdom so that Haruka would live.  That is NOT what she should do.

 
• Confuse Michiru's relationship with Haruka.  In the dubbed version of the anime, they make her and Haruka..uh, Michelle and Amara; cousins, which is cool. However, in the original version, they are friends and lovers, which is cool too.  You can do whatever you want, just don't have them be cousins and lovers at the same time.

 

PHRASES

• "Protected by Neptune, the planet of the sea, I am the soldier of affinity, Sailorneptune!"

    I like this speech, if I only knew what affinity meant.  It's better than "the Maternal Soldier", unless they're emphasising her feminine qualities more.  What I don't like, in the movie, is that she sounds older than Pluto, when it's the other way around.  But the girl who does her voice does do a good job.

• "With the blessings of the Planet of the Sea, Neptune, I am the scout of the depths, Sailorneptune!"

ATTACKS AND SUCH

From the movies and the episodes (SailormoonS, SuperS, and Stars)

• Neptune Planet Power, Make-Up! (Neptune Planet/Star Power): It's her henshin/transformation phrase.  She says this, there is a transformation sequence (which involves her getting drowned in a flume of water), and she turns into Sailorneptune.

 
• Deep Submerge: After Sailorneptune says this, a flume/tower of water surrounds her.  She creates a ringed ball of blue energy.  She then sends it at the enemy, and it hits the enemy with a tsunami-like force.

 
• Sub-marine Reflection: Sailorneptune holds out her mirror/talisman, and a beam of blue light shoots out from the glass and blasts away enemies.  (I put it as "sub-marine" instead of "submarine" because it means under water, not a big long metal thing that floats under water.)

 

Other Equipment/Gadgets

• Deep Aqua Mirror: this is the Talisman that Neptune had in her heart.  It is a mirror made of either gold or oak, and it has the sign of Neptune on the back.  It is used to see the hidden truth, as well as for her Sub-marine Reflection attack.
