Richard, up close and personal
    Richard was the young man that Misae met when Mike invited her and Jean to a fancy dinner to meet him.  He's a normal guy: he likes fixing things and doing stuff with his hands.  He was the new health and nutritionalist intern for Mike and Jean's team, and a good friend of both guys.  He's also Mike's partner.  Yes, that means he's homosexual.

    He has a slight "traditional" feminine side to him, like enjoying cooking, cleaning, and taking care of plants and people.  Like his senshi sister, he has had to take care of himself for a while.  However, his reason for having to learn to take care of himself is because his family, a very traditional Catholic family, disowned him  four years earlier when he told them that he was homosexual.  His sister, who he has not seen since he was disowned, would be the same age as Misae.  As a result, he sees Misae as a sister and treats her like one.

    As a knight, he is the most physical one.  His build is decieving: he is actually a black belt in karate, and doesn't hesitate to start physical confrontations if someone he cares about, someone he cares about cares about, or he himself is in danger.  He also seems to be able to pick up on stuff a mother would pick up on.

HENSHIN PHRASE AND ITEMS

• "Jupiter Knight Power, Transform!": Richard's Transformation phrase.  It's pretty simple.  He says it, bolt of lightning strikes in front of him, when the bolt is gone, Jupiterknight is in his place.
• Jupiter Ring: Richard's henshin item.  It is a simple gold band with a small emerald stone in it.
• Thunder Sword: Jupiterknight's sword.  It looks like the sword that Duncan Mcleod carries in "The Highlander", only it has a blade made of a dark green crystal.

• Jupiter Thunder Bomb: It's, essentially, the same attack as "Jupiter Thunder Crash."  I just like the sound of "Bomb" better.
• Jupiter Eagle Strike!: Jupiterknight holds his sword above his head, where it is struck by a bolt of lightning.  The sword then turns into an eagle made of lightning, which flies and attacks the enemy.  After the attack, the eagle flies back and turns back into his sword.
