Who am I?
One of my many screen names is Satsuki. Though you may even know me has the elusive SlrMercury. I love computers and art. In many ways I am like the Satsuki from X/1999 and almost aspire to be her. (Some goal, ne?) My date of birth is June 14, 1982. A Gemini. My sign depicts me as being quite the social butterfly, when in fact I am quite the loner. I hate to talk, but I love to draw and write. I am quite very single, and not necessarily looking. Namely because I am picky. The guy I'm looking for needs to stimulate my intelligence and like 95% of the stuff I like. Told 'ya I'm picky... err maybe concieted. I'm Hispanic, born in Spain to parents of Italian/Honduran decent. Raised in Las Vegas, Nevada and still living here. I like the city and really can't see myself living somewhere else, 'cept maybe Seattle. I like the rain, since it's so rare here. I'm not one to open up immediately to people (face to face) and I am very cautious. And I am in College.

My PS2 is having issues with blue discs. So I can't play Virtua Fighter 4. *sob* It also won't play my Guilty Gear X game either. Curse it all. And its spring break and its in the shop being fixed. This sucks.

New layout coming soon. I've been managing to get a hold of X anime episodes almost has soon as they come out. Though I'm still waiting for the infamous 21, in which I've been told Satsuki dies ?!!!?!?!?! Not cool, not cool. I must learn to use this thing every day.

I wondered today, for a brief moment, about where I have been for the last.... 20 years. So I was growing up. Can't punish someone for trying. Had I had known that there were so many mean, nasty and just plain down-right stupid people in the world, I would've requested to be transferred to another planet. I have lived in a socially sheltered life. Not mentally though. I'm quite in touch with the ways of the world.
I've realized why Satsuki does what she does and is who she is. It hurts to be even one I.Q. point higher than another. You feel it. You can hear laughter, everywhere you go; wondering if the subject is you. You talk about odd things and concepts. No one understands you. Your mind moves faster than your mouth. Sickness develops faster. You shy away from human contact. ... But I'm afraid, I may be boring everyone. Lets just leave at the thought that I may believe I have more in common with Satsuki than I might have hoped for.

I've come to realize a rather interesting notion. Even though I am a girl, I tend to make better friends with guys. Guys don't tend to stab other guys in the back over stupid little things... like some girls I know do. Just something I thought was interesting.
My classes started up again today. I absolutely cannot live without school. I love learning. Really awesome classes too. Political Science, Astronomy, Advertising Design and Destop Multimedia. Lots of fun this semester. One more and I'll have my Associates in Web Publishing. Then its off to the local University for my BA in Graphic Design and Painting (I'm going to double major). Enough of my aspirations though.
