In the post-mortem of the encounter with Aphelion (Atlantean Secrets 14.7), Gervin explains about the black matter which has rendered Szar's hand paralysed. Make sure you fully understand the extremely important statement made by Gervin, "the more you use a power, the more it sticks to you." Scene 14.7 also contains a number of key points regarding dark forces, and the way they entice people to follow them.
