Life at the Real Maniac House

Life at the "real" Maniac House is never dull. I have three children, three large dogs, two cats, and a dozen mice. Add in a frantic husband, a biploar wife, and a house with more character than its inhabitants, and you have a work in Chaos.

All About Me

Ah. Me. I knew there were people out there that were wondering about me. I wonder about myself too. I have *way* too many interestes and hobbies, and all of them take time away from updating my web page. What do I look like comes up a lot. Well, I'm short, middle-aged, with dark eyes and long dark hair. I have bifocal glasses that I wear whenever I A) find them and B) remember to put them on. I can usually be found lurking about in jeans or cut-offs, a t-shirt or sweatshirt, and either sandals, moccasins or sneakers. I am no way to be confused with any sense of fashion. I believe in comfort. I can usually be found hiding in my room, in the computer room (a tiny extension of my room), or out in the bush, i.e., the "Back Forty", picking flowers, berries, apples, or any combination thereof.

Me!Me and Damien

No, the baby in the picture *isn't* mine. He's my cousin Damien. Or my cousin's son Damien. Or, well, *you* figure it out...too many cousins anyways...(grumble...)

Hobbies? yes, have a few... I have too many as it is. Things I enjoy are Drawing, Beading, Reading and writing Fan-Fiction (of the Comics-variety), Crocheting, Sewing, Gardening, dollmaking and embarrassing myself on the Internet. No, really. I hang out in a chatroom full of wonderful people who make me question my own lack of sanity.

Family? yep. Got them too. Husband and kids, all a good lot. No normal ones in this bunch. THey're all a handful and a delight to live with. Really! They are! You just need a sense of humour and the patience of Job some days, but I really can say I don't have any complaints with any of them.

Critters? Right again. I couldn't live without a houseful of animals. We have dogs, cats, and even mice. Well, we have 8 mice in cages. I can't vouch for the ones in the basement...

And, of course, there's the wonderful people I call friends. Too bad I don't have pics of most of them. Although all that changed with last years' "DexCon 1"...*evil grin*. This Summer's upcoming DexCon should have me snagging a few more pictures!
