I live in the market town of Sandwich with my wife Renate.I have 2 children Louisa and Peter also 2 grandchildren Chloe and Alexander.
After my military service I lived and worked in Karlsruhe, Southern Germany until 1977. Returning to England and running my own Pipe Shop until retirement in July 2000. If anyone would like to contact me at richardsandwich41@fsmail.net

What I hope to achieve in this site is an insight into the Tank Regiment. In particular I will be covering the 2nd RTR as this is more my field of knowledge.
I will explain about the different tanks,their make-up and armourment. I hope to include campaigns losses and successes.
