This page is dedicated to Albert Harriott Chief Stoker and all those that served aboard the HMS Walney. Albert joined the Royal Navy in 1923. he served with my Father on the HMS Resolution and the HMS Walney

Died 1968

The HMS Walney was sunk at Oran 1942 during operation 'Torch'.
There were only 17 survivors, one of those being Albert Harriott. He was badly injured and spent 2 years in hospital.
