Materials:
2 - 7 oz. skeins EACH Lt. Peach (MC) and White (CC) Baby Pompadour yarn
Aluminum crochet hook, US size F
Special Stitch: 7dc cluster; leaving last loop of each st on hook, dc in next 7 dc, YO
and draw through all 8 loops on hook.
Note: This is made entirely on the right side (no turning)
To Make:
With MC, ch 184.
Row 1: 3 dc in 4th ch from hook, sk next 2 ch, sc in next ch, (sk next 2 ch, 7 dc in
next ch, sk next 2 ch, sc in next ch) across to last 3 ch, sk next 2 ch, 4 dc in last
ch. End off.
Row 2: Join CC with a sl st to top of beginning ch 3 of previous row; ch 1, sc in same
st, (ch 2, using the next 7 dc, make a 7dc cluster, ch 2, sc in next dc) across. End
off.
Row 3: Join MC with a sl st to first sc of previous row; ch 3, 3 dc in same st, (sk
next 2 ch, sc in "eye" of cluster, sk next 2 ch, 7 dc in next sc) across to last "eye",
sc in "eye", sk next 2 ch, 4 dc in last sc. End off.
Rows 4-90: Repeat rows 2-3 for pattern, ending with row 2. End off.
Edging:
With MC, working as for row 3, make shells on top and evenly around. Finish off and
weave in ends.
