CROCHET WALLET

Materials:
Worsted Weight yarn (approximately 2-3 oz.)
Aluminum Crochet Hook US Size 7
Snap or Velcro Spot
Yarn Needle
Sewing Needle and Matching Thread (to sew on fastener)

Skill Level: Intermediate

For Wallet:
Ch 35
Row 1: Hdc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across; ch 1 (not
counted as a hdc), turn. (34 hdc)
Rows 2-22: Hdc in each hdc across; ch 1, turn. At the end of row
22, fasten off.

Card/Picture Pocket:
Ch 13
Row 1: Hdc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across; ch 1, turn.
Rows 2-13: Hdc in each hdc across; ch 1, turn. At the end of row
13, fasten off leaving a sewing end.

Change Pocket:
Work as for card/picture pocket through row 7. At the end of row 7,
fasten off leaving a sewing end.

Change Pocket Flap:
Work as for change pocket through row 2; ch 1, turn.
Rows 3-5: Dec 1 hdc at each end of row; ch 1, turn. At the end of
row 5, fasten off leaving a sewing end.

Assembly:
Fold wallet piece in half. With sewing ends, whipstitch each piece
to wallet on one side (this will be the inside). Whipstitch sides
of wallet. With sewing needle & matching thread, sew fastener to
change pocket and flap.

Finishing:
With outside of wallet facing you, attach yarn to left corner. Ch
1, rsc across outside edge. Finish off and weave in ends.
