"We couldn't believe what we were seeing...a real UFO right before our eyes!..."
" We were all just camping...you know like I told you, anyway me and Petey
wake up to some noise like some kinda vehicles up in the hills above the lake.
We both go up expecting to see some fools on a dune buggy in the
dark...instead we see these Army guys...
and there are a bunch of 'em. Pretty soon as we watched all ducked down like ,
we see a truck with a kinda space ship lookin thing on the back roll by. No tarp
or nothin...really...and it was huge..."
Excerpts from interview of two eyewitnesses Rafael Boyer and Peter Winslow
about Beaver Sandhills incident - June of 95
Beaver, Oklahoma
Fact or Fiction

Another fine example of what the public doesn't know about UFOs. What those who work behind the scenes will never let us know. Something is out there and mankind has proof. The Beaver Sands Portal is the perfect example . Better documented than a Roswell. We should start at the beginning. You will never believe what you are about to hear..It is too incredible.
It was a well known french archaeologist a Mr. E.B. Renaud who is credited with giving the name to this mystery "Beaver Sands Portal" in a scientific journal in 1931. The Portal is believed by some scientists today to actually be some kind of space time vortex that appears from time to time in the vicinity of a few square miles of sand dunes in the panhandle of Oklahoma. People and and animals are sucked in when ever an eerie green light or fog appears over the dunes. This phenomenon has struck a total of 42 people to date, whisking them away to oblivion in brilliant beam of green light. Or so the story goes. In this article we will try to help sort out a few of the facts from the fantasy.
The first known disappearances were three of the Coronado's men. Fact or fiction? The truth lies somewhere between legend and fact. This does have a certain historical veracity, as it was recorded years after the event in the diary of one Fray Juan de Padilla, a priest who accompanied Coronado's expedition. (1543) This journal is hotly contested as a fabrication by some historians. Other sources such as Coronado's own report of his expedition seem to confirm the occurance. Hernando Bermejo, Coronado's offical journalist for the expedition recounted in later years the same incident , but was commanded by Coronado himself to strike it from the records.
Over 42 people have disappeared in the Beaver Sands Portal. Fact or Fiction? This is a tough one for it is a mixture of truth and legend. The actual number of disappearances stands at 11 as far as what can be verified by evidence such as official records and newspaper accounts , as well as family members and eyewitness testimony. The rest fall in to the unknown catagory: either there were no records to back up the stories or there were other possibilities to explain these missing people in a less spectacular way (a few were found later).
The Native American tribes considered this a place of power. Fact or Fiction? Fact. E.B. Renaud (see above) the famed french paleo historian, has verified this as far back as 1931. Others have followed suit within the archaeological community, Scientists from more than a few Universities agree (Oklahoma, Colorado, Nebraska etc.).
There is a space craft buried underneath the Sand hills. Fact or Fiction? Conjecture. Other than the interviews of 14 people who claimed some military people dug one up in 1995, nothing of any tangibility has ever been brought forth. I myself have interviewed the 12 members of the family who claimed they saw a craft unearthed. I found them sincere, but poorly educated. They indeed saw something of a military nature, but the truth is they could not be certain of what they saw. They admit as much. The other two witnesses have been interviewed as well and though I have yet to meet them ( a meeting is scheduled) I doubt the veracity of some of their statements because of inconsistancies with the other twelve who were there. (Transcripts of the above to anyone wishing them by e-mailing D.Trammell at : dt@archaeologist.com
There is a Government Coverup. Fact or Fiction? Who knows? Four researchers and all 14 eyewitnesses claim they were threatened by Government agents or military types. (names of researchers: Dr. Mark Thatcher, Stirling Dutchford, Alan Gordon, and Misty Alton-Ames.) All four represent good research groups in the field og ufology. However I and at least three others who have researched the same case have been unimpeded, though I am keeping a lookout for black helicopters. I do however seriously believe that there are those who were threatened, but it probably has nothing to do with a spaceship. I have and am researching this case quite extensively and I believe there is something else being hidden. Too many well known scientists have put their collective credentials on the line to assert that there is indeed some type of wormhole phenomena taking place. George Wenk and Pol Janicz , both well know theorist in the field of astral mechanics have set forth on paper the electromagnetic properties and anomalies of this region of Oklahoma are off of the scale. Dr. mark Thatcher, a theorist in his own right has made a startling connection to the Bermuda triangle phenomenon. " What we have here is indeed a mini Devil's triangle. The effects are exactly reproduced on a much smaller scale, yet with increased power and frequency." (Mark Thatcher on "The Shamen's Portal " Lecture series) Also, I should point out that others in the scientific community have made over 390 cryptic references in many publications to that exact location in relation to Mars, NASA, Space travel, physics, and archaeology. These sand dunes have been a hotbed of data gathering for the best part of this last century. Why here? I have my suspicions the Government does indeed know something.
And finally...People are still disappearing. Fact or Fiction? The last person to disappear there was a teenage boy named Jose Fernandez from the neighboring city of Liberal Kansas in 1997. He was camping out with a few friends. The four others who were camping with him had no idea where he went or why. They simply woke up and he was gone. A woman from Perryton Texas, a Mrs. Adale Turner. 57, was also camping out in the park that night in here trailer. She knew nothing of the Boy, but did say she saw a brilliant burst of green light she thought was lightning. This is the last known disappearance attributed to the Beaver Sands Portal.
