These dolls were my first creations. I love faeries (you can see them all throughout my home in many different forms). Most of them turned out wonderfully and those that didn't were given to my mother. All of these dolls are original designs and one of a kind. I do not, as a general rule, duplicate styles. Although you cannot see it in these pictures, each faerie does have a set of antenna that coordinates with her outfit.

This was my first faerie "Midnight". Originally, this was a terribly tangled Teresa Doll. Since I don't know thing one about re-rooting (yet) working her tangled hair into a wild faerie hairstyle was easy. I worked out the snarls until her hair was tangle free. Then I went insane with the gel and laquer. Her face was my first repaint. Instead of sewing a bodice for her dress, I painted it in black and sealed it with a sparkle laquer so it wouldn't rub off (I did lots of scratch tests). Her gown was made out of sheer black fabric scraps (leftover material from my dollhouse curtains) and her wings are made out of a silver ribbon. She is adorned with a black satin faerie bag and various knick nacks. Midnight has been sold.

This was the second doll I created and I have to admit, she's my favorite. Originally, "Autumn" was a Florida Vacation Midge. Her dress and wings are made out of silk autumn leaves. Around her neckline, her hat, and her glove were made out of scraps of a filligree gold ribbon. Her skirt is attached to her bodice with fine gold wiring. Her face is a total repaint (one of the better ones I've done) and her hair is wildly done. Around her waist is a gold rope belt. Attached to that belt is a genuine quartz crystal. I'm sorry to say that "Autumn" was the first to go and is not available. I make it a habit not to duplicate dolls, however, I have considered doing another "Autumn" for myself! :)

This is "Moss". Moss is another one of my favorites, however, I made a huge mistake creating her, therefore, she is not available. Going for the natural look, I used Reindeer Moss to adorn her costume and body. Unfortunately, Reindeer Moss dries out very, very quickly and becomes very brittle. She'd NEVER survive shipping. In the future, I plan on redoing Moss using a more synthetic fiber.

Anyway, Moss is adorned in a sleeveless brown velvet tunic trimmed in moss. She has silk sunflower leaf wings. Her face is a total repaint and her hair is done in a wild faerie style. I believe Moss originally was an Aerobics Barbie ( I could be wrong). She has moss running down her leg and around one ankle. In her hands she holds a delicate nest containing a bluebird and attached to her waist by a black silk rope is a faerie bag made of the same material as her tunic.

This is "Plum". Plum was a whim of sorts; an accident at most. I originally was going to just paint her bodice purple, but my daughter bumped my hand while I was painting which led to a purple streak down her leg. I figured "What the heck" and did her whole bottom half. Of course, her whole body paint is sealed with a sparkle laquer to keep from scratching off.

Plum's wings and skirt are made out of a thick silver ribbon. She has silver cord running up and down her leg, around her waist, and around her bodice. Attached to her waist is a matching silver faerie bag. Her face is a total repaint and for the life of me, I can't remember which Barbie she was in a former life. Plum is available at $40.
