A very sweet (and excellent) Valentine's Day story, starring the members of the various Brotherhoods of Evil Mutants/Freedom Force, and The Bar With No Name.
"The Other Side" by Diamonde.
A lovely Christmas-themed story featuring Mystique and Pyro, set in recent times. It'll tug on your heart-strings (it made me sniffle!), and it's very well-written. Some strong language.
"Mall Santa Mayhem" by Hellions Pizza.
A funny little holiday piece about Freedom Force and what happens when the government takes good publicity a bit too far.
"Breaking Through" by Kielle.
An utterly charming story which co-stars a cheery Pyro---alongside a cast of other characters---as he battles Legacy, the Marauders, and Moira MacTaggert on Muir Island. Meanwhile, everybody else has their own problems...some of which include him!
Sadly, Kielle recently passed away. I'm glad she knew how much I like this story. ---Lia, Sept 2005

A nice little piece about Mystique in custody after Dream's End, dealing with her grief over Destiny's death.

Freedom Force, the series
A new fanfic series by myself and Martin Lawson. Featuring the adventures of Freedom Force, a mercenary business team operating under the watchful eye of Phantazia. Currently, there is one story and several related art sketches available.

A year after the events in "Introducing...", Pyro goes to complete some unfinished business with Phantazia.

Okay, so the title sucks. But it's one of those rare fics that takes place during Freedom Force days, with the entire cast. FF schmoozes at a government function.
Warning: this story has no redeeming social value whatsoever. It's just a character piece that was fun to write.

The surviving members of the former FF meet at a barbecue. Despite a few interesting similarities, this fic and Samy's have nothing to do with each other---I wrote this one in the summer of 1998, but this is the first time it's seen light of day.

Avalanche describes his life and strained relations with his friends following Freedom Force's ill-fated mission to Kuwait.

Here's the beautifully-done Down-Home Charm site, dedicated to Rogue. On the Alternate Realities fanfic page, check out "Stars And Stripes Forever", by Alexandra Nigro. It stars alternate versions of Pyro, Blob, Avalanche, Rogue, and others, and is excellent.

This archive is known as The Great Comic Book MiSTing Site, and contains MiSTings of various Marvel comics issues and fanfics. Of particular interest is the skewering of Uncanny X-Men #338 by Catherine Johnson and Benjamin Wick---they mercilessly parody what was originally a terrible issue guest-starring Pyro. It's very funny and worth reading, but you have to scroll down a bit on the page to find it.
