WHY OFFER AN AWARD
Building a website takes countless hours of time. Just when
you think every tag is enclosed and every link is correct, you
double-check (for the gazillionth time) only to find that the button that
is supposed to link back to your Home Page actually links to your Graphics
page. Or, your page shows a white box with an "X" in it where a graphic
should be.
I understand the frustration of these
circumstances.
The majority of my free time is spent on the web. I enjoy
surfing the net and seeing the different website designs and layouts.
Offering this award affords me the opportunity to see new and innovative
web designs.
This award is given in honor of the hours of hard work and creativity that
go into designing a website. HOWEVER: This award isn't as easy to win as it
may sound.
