From the Halls of Dragon*Con 2000

Dawn, Dawn, Dawn!
Everywhere you looked, there was another buxom Dawn!

Dragon*Con hall costuming is probably the best on the East Coast. People dress to be seen! The southern Mardi Gras influence is apparent everywhere!
Armored men with big snarky weapons are the rule of the day in the hotel lobby. Would ya look at these camera sluts? Cool beans, guys!
You GO, Bongo-Boy!

Warm nights encouraged an outdoor drum circle, inspiring jugglers and dancers alike. (Imagine the birds-eye view at Klingon Party!)
The Toxic Avenger and Sgt. Kabuki-Man, N.Y.P.D., were hanging out with the crew from TROMA Films.

You never know what you're going to see at Dragon*Con!
Hey, there's Brenda and John "K'Mel's Guide to Klingon Cyberspace" Tackett! They volunteered to be on the con-comm, don't you feel sorry for them?

She:
"Honey, is it over yet?"

He:
"Hang on darling, only 42 more hours to go!"

Purists and SMOF's poo-poo and scoff, saying it isn't really a science fiction con-- who ever heard of wrestling, *snif* I mean _really_ darling*snif*, and punk rock bands at a convention?!?!
Dragon*Con has quickly gained a reputation as the media con that attracts writers. Everyone who's been says the same thing---

SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!
