Sigourney Weaver as Lt. Ellen Ripley

She blasted her way into our fantasies in 1979 playing the indominable Lt. Ellen Ripley in the movie Alien. Her strength, tenacity, and really tiny underwear made us go back for more. Three more times. Aliens in 1986, Alien 3 in 1992 where she put GI Jane to shame with her shaved do, and 1997's Alien Resurrection. Now that one gave cloning a whole new meaning. More please.

She's kicked alot of alien ass over the years and we love her dearly for it. Enough to see a Part 5? Hell yeah! I'd be the first in line to buy a ticket. No other woman could have played Ripley like Sigourney. And I don't think we would have wanted anyone else.

But the best thing about Sigourney is her ability to mock herself. The hilariously funny spoof "Galaxy Quest "can definitely be categorized in the Science Fiction genre. Spoofing the convention phenomenom, Sigourney plays an actress on a humongously popular Sci-Fi TV show. She and the show's crew are mistaken for real astronauts and are zipped into outerspace to save the day. As a visitor of many a convention I found this exceptionally humorous!

Did I say more please already?
