Claire as Alti
It ain't easy being bitchy. But oh...she does it so well. Alti, the disenchanted former Amazon shamaness (why'd she get booted anyway, we never found out) sets her sights on Xena early in the 3rd season. Via flashbacks we see Xena before she's reformed. While pregnant with her son, Solan, a young Xena meets up with the evil Alti.
With promises of power she lures Xena into slaughtering the Amazon tribal council for her twisted purposes. Xena does as she is bade. But she sure as hell regrets it later. During her quest to the Amazon burial ground to retreave Gabrielle she has to battle the forces of Alti yet again. They always say your past comes back to haunt you.
Brilliantly played by the beautiful and talented Claire Stansfield, Alti has become a favorite bad guy to alot of Xena fans. Returning to appear in the episodes "Between the Lines" and "Them Bones, Them Bones" we are hoping we'll see her again. Did all of her ashes spread to the winds? I'll guess we'll just have to wait and see.
