What are you lookin' at?
Some Cape buffalo in Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania.
looking a little annoyed by my presence.
Cape Buffalo may look like cows but they can be mean when they want to be.
I heard a story when I was at Lake Kariba camped next to a dry river bed.
it seems a tourist once wandered off on his own down this same dry
river bed and came across a herd of Cape Buffalo.
He didn't return for some time so a search party was sent to find him.
They eventually found him, or rather bits of him.
It seems the buffalo had torn him to pieces and he was only identified by his clothing.
