Last Week's shows: "Providence" (NBC-R), 48 Hours (CBS), AFHV (ABC-R), "Firefly" (FOX-P), "What I Like About You" (WB-P), "Set It Off" (UPN).

NETWORK RATINGS ANALYSIS:
A one-time-only presentation of "Dateline NBC" designed to dull the reformatted "48 Hours Investigates" placed atop the ratings, but this week the normal occupant of the slot, "Providence", will air. "Firefly" and "What I Like About You" each lost some audience from last week, but "Firefly" lost more and has been unable to capture the male 18-49 demo. UPN's movie was a non-factor, and in fact was the lowest non-PAX show of the week.

Previous year ratings are compared to the October 12, 2002 airings of "Sabrina", "Maybe It's Me". "Reba" and "Raising Dad". Not all Nielsen rankings were available that week.

WB RATINGS ANALYSIS:
The surprising point of the second week schedule is that "Greetings From Tucson" has slightly improved its rating from the previous week. Has "Reba" found its leadout? Also, "Sabrina" is starting to flag, losing some of WILAY's audience. "Reba" lost audience from previous week, while WILAY pretty much held its rating despite losing some audience. All four Thursday comedies ranked 100th or lower.
